You have come to the right place! The Bluewater R/C Flyers have been flying Model Aircraft at our field just 15 minutes South East of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. (10 Minutes straight West of Petrolia, Ontario.)
Membership Requirements:
All members are required to have a current MAAC Membership, Bluewater R/C Flyers Membership, and their BASIC RPAS Certification from Transport Canada.
Bluewater R/C Flyers Member Fees:
Junior Members ( Under 18yrs ) : $25.00
Regular Members ( Over 18yrs ) : $100.00
TRANSPORT CANADA – RPAS CERTIFICATION INFORMATION
All members of the Bluewater RC Flyers are also required to pass their SMALL BASIC RPAS Certification via a simple exam through the Transport Canada Website, found on the button below:
Fee: $10.17. Additional attempts have the same fee.
About the online Small Basic Exam
You must pass this exam to get your Pilot Certificate – Basic Operations.
You must be 14 years of age or older to take this exam.
The Small Basic Exam:
- 35 multiple choice questions.
- 90 minutes to complete the exam. If you run out of time, your exam will be marked based on the answers provided (see accommodations notice below).
- A score of 65% or higher is considered a pass.
